Haiti’s Club Indigo resort has closed in order to begin a large renovation project ahead of its debut as an all-inclusive property.

The hotel will be rebranded as the Royal Club Decameron Indigo following what will be a mulitmillion-dollar renovation project.

The resort is slated to reopen with 390 rooms on Nov. 1, 2015, according to a company spokesperson.

On that date, property will also begin receiving charter groups from France, Canada, the Czech Republic and, later next year, from the French Caribbean departments of Martinique and Guadeloupe.

The property is located at the former site of the Club Med in Haiti’s Cote des Arcadins.
