Spanish hotel giant Melia is expanding in Cuba.

The company announced this week that it would be developing a new resort in the Varadero area.

The hotel, which is slated to open in 2017, would be the brand’s 28th hotel in Cuba.

The announcement follows the signing of an agreement with the Gran Caribe company.

The hotel will include 934 rooms in two areas: adults-only and families.

The all-inclusive property will include seven restaurants, two buffets, an ice cream shop, a market grill and nine bars.

Melia opened its latest Cuba earlier this year, the Melia Jardines del Rey in Cayo Coco.
