JetBlue is expanding in Mexico.

The carrier announced it would be launching service to Mexico City from both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando airports.

Mexico City will become the carrier’s second destination in Mexico.

“We think about JetBlue’s leadership in the Caribbean and Latin America, Mexico City is a destination that we have been very eager to add to our network,” said Dave Clark, vice president of network planning at JetBlue. “We can’t wait to inspire humanity in Mexico City with our award-winning customer experience that has wowed the rest of the region. At the same time, we are proud to continue enhancing our already growing presence in Florida.”

JetBlue has been on a major expansion push in the wider region in recent years.

New flights set to launch this year include Grenada and Antigua, among others.

Service from both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando to Mexico city will operate daily.
