Rosewood Mayakoba on the Caribbean coast of Mexico is planning an “enhancement project” later this year.
The property will be closing Sept. 7 for two weeks to allow for “the transformation of select guest accommodations, dining outlets and public spaces,” according to Rosewood.
The changes will include a reconfiguration of outdoor space in the property’s Beachside Lagoon Suites, the addition of two-bedroom suites and outdoor showers for Beachfront Studio suites and enhancements to the resort’s four restaurants.
The project will total $1.5 million, according to the company.
