Grand Bahama is getting a new all-inclusive resort.

It’s called Lighthouse Point at Grand Lucayan, and it’s a resort to be located within the Grand Lucayan resort.

The property is opening later this year after a multimillion-dollar renovation.

The 198-unit enclave, slated for a “late 2015” debut, will include an on property nightclub and a kids club.

“Grand Lucayan has become synonymous with high caliber service and a superior quality product coming together to create an unmatched, authentic Bahamian vacation,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager at Grand Lucayan. “Ultimately we expect Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan to capture the attention of an entirely new audience seeking an unforgettable all-inclusive experience.”

The property will include complimentary Wi-Fi, airport transfers and long-distance calls to the US and Canada, according to a release.

It will also offer availability for dining at seven restaurants, along with in-room dining, a pizza cafe and weekly beach barcecue, fish fry and buffet events, along with “premium alcoholic beverages.”

“Strategically positioning Grand Lucayan as a hybrid resort, with both traditional and all-inclusive offerings, will effectively drive the brand to the next level and redefine our capabilities,” said Tom Anderson, chief marketing officer at Grand Lucayan. “It is our hope that the addition of Lighthouse Pointe will capture the attention of new and past guests alike by coupling the appeal of Grand Lucayan’s already impressive offerings with the benefits associated with the all-inclusive concept to create a truly unrivaled destination resort in Grand Bahama Island.”
