JetBlue is adding seasonal service to Barbados out of Boston, the company announced.

The new flights will operate weekly from Boston’s Logan International Airport to Barbados’ Grantley Adams International Airport.

The flights will launch Nov. 7, subject to government operating authority, the company said in a release.

JetBlue now offers more Caribbean flights than any other carrier.

“Barbados has proven to be a favorite for our New York customers, and we’re happy to provide Bostonians the chance to experience the beauty and culture of Barbados,” said Dave Clark, vice president, network planning at JetBlue.

The new Barbados flights are the latest launched by the carrier out of Boston, including service to Costa Rica, Puerto Plata, St Lucia and Port-au-Prince.

“Boston is one of the most affluent regions on the eastern seaboard of the United States and it presents an opportunity to diversify Barbados’ tourism business beyond the current US getaways,” said Barbados Tourism Minister Richard Sealy. “We look forward to continued strong cooperative marketing efforts with our partners at JetBlue to ensure the success of this new service.”

JetBlue already offers service to Barbados out of New York.
