Browsing and buying in than 100 stores (including the region’s only Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom) is guaranteed to chase away the bad weather blues.

Rock Out in the Dominican Republic

When the weather isn’t cooperating, guests at Hard Rock Punta Cana can borrow one of 20 Fender electric guitars and rock out in the comfort of their suite. Riffs need work? Follow along to lessons broadcast 24-7 on the resort’s TV channel.

Be Sweet in the Bahamas

In Nassau, bag the beach and join Graycliff Chocolatier’s hour-long chocolate tour. You’ll witness the manufacturing process from bean to bar, watching as the raw beans are roasted, husked, broken into nibs and then ground into a paste. The tour highlight: making (and eating!) your own chocolate bar or truffles at the end.
