The Cayman Islands’ Tourism Attraction Board has completed substantial upgrading work at the famous “Hell” attraction in West Bay.

The renovation projects included a reduced traffic island, improved landscaping and benches, new painting of the buildings and new murals, among other changes.

New signs are also on the way.

“Hell,” a blackened limestone outcropping, is one of the most popular attractions on the island. In the past year, an estimated 100,000 tourists visited the site.

“The new-look Hell site demonstrates TAB’s strategic commitment to ensuring a special and memorable experience for our visitors to this and all other attractions that we manage,” said TAB CEO Gilbert Connolly. “These renovations also enhance the value of one of Cayman’s most visited land-based attractions.”
