Dutch Caribbean carrier InselAir is expanding its service to Venezuela.
On Tuesday, the airline launches flights to Puerto Ordaz, its sixth destination in Venezuela.
Puerto Ordaz is located at the confluence of the Caroni and Orinoco rivers in Venezuela; it is one of the country’s centres for heavy industry.
“Puerto Ordaz has an estimated population of 600.000 and is known for its heavy industries such as iron and steel, but has also a lot to offer for those who want to explore Venezuela’s
spectacular nature,” the carrier said in a statement.
Flights between Curacao and Puerto Ordaz take around 90 minutes, according to the company.
The flights depart Curacao at 7:30 AM and return at around 4 PM.
InselAir now serves 22 destinations in the wider Caribbean region.
