One of the Caribbean’s iconic hotels is hitting the auction block.
Barbuda’s landmark Lighthouse Bay boutique property and its adjacent acreage will be set up in three bidding sections: the nine-room boutique resort, the 32.42 buildable acres or the full package.
According to auction company Concierge Auctions, the property has never been offered for sale collectively.
The total lot size is 46.51 acres, according to Concierge Auctions.
The property will go for auction without reserve on May 14, in cooperation with Terry Schad of Century 21 Tripower Realty.
Barbuda, Antigua’s sparsely populated sister island, is home to a recently-announced major project helmed by Hollywood star Robert De Niro, who will be overseeing the transformation of the K-Club hotel property.
The K-Club and Lighthouse Bay are the only existing resort properties on the island.
The property’s beach is frequently ranked among the best in the Caribbean region.
