The real estate at Mexico’s Mayakoba is expanding.

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and OHL Desarrollos have announced the upcoming opening of the new Fairmont Heritage Place in Mayakoba.

The development, slated to open March 20, is the first phase of the project, including six of 30 planned private residence club homes.

“This is another exciting addition to Fairmont’s residential collection and a very attractive opportunity for anyone looking to own a vacation home in a truly pristine part of the world,” said Kevin Frid, president, Americas FRHI Hotels & Resorts. “Fairmont Heritage Place really does provide owners with the best of both worlds by combining the prestige and convenience of a fully-deeded vacation home with the dedicated services and amenities of a Fairmont hotel.”

The residences, which are being sold in 1/12 fractions, include three-bedroom units (with 3,875 square feet of space) and four-bedroom units with 6,544 square feet of space.

The latter include private terraces with rooftop garden access.

“We are very excited about Fairmont Heritage Place,” said Agustin Sarasola, Mayakoba’s General Manager. “We certainly had high expectations from the plans, but I think I can genuinely say that these are now some of the finest residences I have seen in the Caribbean and they are a worthy addition to Mayakoba.”
