Southwest Airlines has officially launched new service between Houston, Texas and the island of Aruba.

The new seasonal service will operate every Saturday through Aug. 8, 2015.

The flights out of Houston’s Hobby Airport began on March 7; it is the first-ever international flying offered from Houston Hobby airport.

In October, Southwest will complete construction of a new $156 million international terminal project at the airport.

“This is just the beginning of a very big 2015 for our Houston Employees and Customers with an additional six destinations across three countries coming online at Hobby later this year,” said Teresa Laraba, Southwest Airlines’ senior vice president of customers.
