It’s not really a secret — French St Martin has some seriously beautiful stretches of beach.
Perched just off the waves at Nettle Bay in St Martin is one of the island’s best beach lounges.
It’s called, fittingly, Le Sand, and it’s a relaxed, upscale restaurant-bar-lounge that oozes French Caribbean cool.
Le Sand is home to its own lounge-within-a-lounge called Le Cyrus, where one can sip cultured cocktails or down a selection of rare rhums from Martinique and Guadeloupe.
If you can steal yourself away from the beach chairs on Nettle Bay, of course.
