Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard chose a Bahamian island for their wedding earlier this month.

Guests from Steven Tyler to Helena Bonham Carter joined together on Depp’s private island in the Exumas called Little Hall’s Pond Cay.

Depp first purchased the island 11 years ago, after he first filmed Pirates of the Caribbean in the Bahamas.

The 45-acre island has six private beaches, including one named after Depp’s former mentor, Hunter S Thompson.

Depp is among the latest celebrities to get married in the Bahamas; recent Bahamian weddings included those of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.
