Hard Rock International is expanding its footprint on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

The company announced this week plans to open the new Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun all inclusive.

The oceanfront property, which is slated to open in late 2017, will be the company’s third property on the Yucatan peninsula.

It is slated to include 1,800 oceanfront rooms.

“We are excited to welcome our fifth property in Mexico and build upon our collaboration with All Inclusive Collection,” said Marco Roca, executive vice president and chief development officer for hotels at Hard Rock International. “Boasting an exotic backdrop, superb climate and unrivalled amenities, including a beach-front lagoon pool, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun will offer the ultimate resort experience, tempting travelers to never leave.”

The property’s plans include six restaurants, five bars and lounges and an 8-million-gallon lagoon-style pool.

“We are happy to continue the successful partnership with Hard Rock Hotels, and look forward to offering guests of all ages an all-access pass to luxury, relaxation and entertainment in one of the world’s leading leisure destinations,” said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing at All Inclusive Collection.

Hard Rock already has properties in the Caribbean including Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana and Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
