As rumors continue to swirl about the health of Fidel Castro, a soccer star says there’s nothing to worry about.

Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona, who visited Cuba this weekend, says he received a letter from Castro saying the former Cuban leader is “doing very well.”

It has been more than a year since the former Cuban leader has been seen in public.

Maradona’s letter is dated Jan. 11, 2015.

The letter was first reported by Latin American news channel Telesur.

It’s not the first time Castro is reported to have sent a letter to Maradona.

On June 24 of last year, Castro is reported as having sent Maradona a letter extolling the virtues of football.

In that letter, Castro said he had been following World Cup soccer on Telesur.

Maradona then sent a letter to Castro in August, wishing him happy birthday.
