The region might have a new leader when it comes to pop-up restaurants: the creative Grace Bay Club in Turks and Caicos.

Last year, the resort debuted a pop-up eatery called Jars on Grace Bay featuring both food and drinks served in jars and, earlier, the Stix on Grace Bay pop-up.

Now, the property has unveiled another new pop-up restaurant called Biere et Boules (Beer and Balls), a menu centered around meatballs.

“We like to have fun with these ocean front pop-up concepts, while at the same time offering guests a unique culinary experience by taking a new twist on the tapas trend,” said Chef Wolfgang von Wieser. “This year, we wanted to take a more rustic approach than we have in the past and pick a cuisine that would pair well with craft beer. Seafood and Meat balls are packed with flavors and easy to share with friends and family sitting on the beach with their toes in the sand – it was a natural fit that offers plenty of room for creativity.”

The beer selection includes local brews like Turks Head Lager and a variety of international inclusions from Jamaica’s Red Stripe to the Dominican Republic’s Presidente.

“The pop-up concept is perfect for Grace Bay Resorts, as it allows us to continue offering our guests the most current culinary offerings available,” said Nikheel Advani, COO at Grace Bay Resorts. “This year’s pop-up reaffirms our commitment to innovative cuisine and authentic culinary experiences.”
