St Lucia Shaken By Earthquake

The island of St Lucia was shaken by a 5.0-magnitude earthquake on Sunday, according to the USGS.

The quake, which struck at a depth of 36 kilometers, was around 61 km east of the town of Micoud and around 108 kilometers southeast of Le Francois in Martinique.

The strongest reports of shaking were in St Lucia’s capital, Castries, along with reports of shaking around the airport area in Martinique.

The quake struck at around 11:35 AM local time in St Lucia.

There were not any reports of damage or injuries resulting from the quake.
