One of the brightest stars in Caribbean music took home the Latin Grammy on Thursday.
Marc Anthony, who is of Puerto Rican heritage, won the Latin Grammy award for the Best Salsa Album for his album titled “3.0.”
He beat out a group of strong contenders, including Tito NIeves, Aymee Nuviola, Maite Hontele and the Mario Ortiz All-Star Band.
Anthony was also part of the team that took home the award for Best Tropical Song on “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar,” by Andres Castro and Carlos Vives, written by Vives and Anthony.
