SOUFRIERE — You don’t have to eat here.
You could sit at the bright-green tables and just look out at one of the most spectacular views in St Lucia, high above the town of Soufriere.
There’s a rainforest, a colourful town below and then the towering Pitons.
But if you do eat (and you should), you won’t be disappointed, with solid local food at a restaurant that’s been perched on this hillside for 15 years.
From green “figs” (green bananas) to curry chicken to fried fish, it’s a simple, delectable taste of St Lucia.
Oh, and did we mention the view?
