Costa Rica was shaken Sunday by a 4.3-magnitude earthquake, according to data from the United States Geological Survey.
The quake’s epicentre was in San Antonio, about 2 kilometres east-northeast of San Rafael in the central portion of Costa Rica.
The quake struck at around 2:23 AM at a depth of 10 kilometres, according to the USGS.
The strongest reports of shaking were just north of the capital, San Jose.
There were no reports of damage or injuries, but the shaking was reportedly disruptive, particularly in light of a recent volcanic eruption in the country.
