The Fairmont Hamilton Princess has officially debuted its new Princess Marina.

The 59-berth facility’s opening is part of a $90 million redevelopment of the iconic Bermuda property.

It will be “the only full service marina in Bermuda with integrated pump-out facilities, custom metered electrical service and water distribution,” the property said in a statement.

“From a facilities and amenity standpoint, The Princess Marina leads the market in terms of what we are able to offer our annual lease holders and those docking for only a few days,” said David Carey, dockmaster at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. “With annual events like the Bermuda Big Game Classic held each summer and bi-annual traditions like the Newport to Bermuda Race in 2016, the marina is a wonderful addition to Bermuda’s vibrant boating and sailing community.”

Marina guests will be entitled to signing privileges at the hotels’ on-site restaurants, including 1609 Bar and Restaurant and the soon-to-debut restaurant from Chef Marcus Samuelsson.

“The marina will be a wonderful addition to the services and amenities offered at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess,” said Allan Federer, general manager of The Fairmont Hamilton Princess. “Whether guests hold long-term leases or are visitors for just a few days, the atmosphere and location of this new marina, complemented by the hotel’s amenities, including renovations to the guestrooms and suites at the hotel, will make it an appealing option for boat owners.”
