Caribbean Room With a View: Turtle Beach in Barbados

SET AT the far corner of the St Lawrence Gap, Barbados’ liveliest thoroughfare, is Turtle Beach.

The beach gets its name from the many sea turtles who nest there — and you can’t blame them.

This turquoise stunner has pure white sand and soft waves — a classic Bajan beach.

And it’s what you see from an ocean view junior suite at the Turtle Beach resort.

The 161-suite property is one of the best-known all-inclusive resorts in Barbados and it’s smack in front of this beautiful patch of sand.

So grab a Mount Gay Extra Old, or a rum punch, grab a towel and head on into the water.

If you can stop looking at the beach from your balcony, that is.
