The Caribbean’s New Top Football Team

Antigua and Barbuda is now the Caribbean’s top-ranked national football team, according to the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.

The country jumped a whopping 69 slots in the latest rankings, reaching 80th in the world.

That gave Antigua and Barbuda its highest-ever FIFA ranking since the rankings were introduced in 1993.

The next-highest-ranked Caribbean side was Trinidad and Tobago at 86th in the world, followed by Jamaica at 100 and St Vincent and the Grenadines at 106.

The Dominican Republic was ranked 107th in the world.

FIFA’s rankings are released each month.
