New Boutique Hotel Opens in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen

There’s a new boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen.
Hotel management and development company Cornerstone’s new boutique property, Hotel Cacao, was officially inaugurated with a ceremony last week.
The property is Cornerston’es latest entry in the Mexican hotel sector and first on the Caribbean coast.
Noted Mexican Chef Enrique Olvera is overseeing the culinary experience at the property, with his first “cocteleria” at the hotel’s rooftop bar.
The 60-room property is located on Playa del Carmen’s Fifth Avenue, with what it calls a “hippie chic” lifestyle.
Cornerstone already runs two properties in Mexico: Hotel Matilda and Moxi, both of which are in San Miguel de Allende.
