Starwood Names New CFO

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has named Thomas Mangas the company’s new executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Mangas’ appointment will take effect Sep. 29; he will be a member of Starwood’s senior leadership team and report to the company’s president and CEO, Frits van Paasschen.

“We are excited to welcome Tom as our new CFO, and believe he is a perfect fit for Starwood with his deep global and consumer brand experience, strong track records in both finance and operations, and tenure working for a large global organization,” van Paasschen said. “Our team will benefit from his leadership as we continue to grow our fee business and footprint around the world.”

Mangas had most recently served as the executive vice president and CEO of Armstrong Floor Products.

Starwood is one of the largest hotel companies in the world, with a significant footprint in the Caribbean.
