Hilton has opened the brand’s first-ever property in Panama.

The new Hilton Panama has officially debuted in Panama City, part of a 70-story mixed-use complex.

The 347-room hotel, which was designed by BA-HAUS/KNF architects, includes a spa, meeting space and six food and bar options.

It is located at the intersection of Balbao Avenida and Aquilino de la Gua.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hilton Panama as the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the country to the brand’s growing global portfolio,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, full service brands at Hilton Worldwide. “This newest Hilton in Latin America represents our continued interest in the region, and introduces business and leisure travelers to Hilton’s signature brand amenities and hospitality.”

The Hilton is actually the fourth brand for Hilton Worldwide in Panama City.

“With a fifth hotel coming soon, Hilton Worldwide will have five of its brands in Panama City, welcoming today’s traveler with unparalleled choice in upscale quality and service standards,” said Danny Hughes, senior vice president, Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America at Hilton Worldwide.

A Waldorf Astoria is among the property’s other branded hotels in Panama’s capital.
