The Riu Cancun has opened its doors with a new look.
The Riu Cancun officially opened its doors at the beginning of this month following a $30 million renovation project.
The all-inclusive property in Mexico first debuted in 2003.
The renovation included an upgrade of all guest rooms and the Miramar restaurant, along with the addition of an Italian restaurant, La Toscana, a remodel of the resort’s four bars and a new pool bar.
Riu said it had also “completely redesigned” its gardens, terraces and swimming pools, with three redesigned pools and a new fourth infinity pool.
The project also included the redesign of the resort’s lobby and facade.
