YOU GET picked up in a Mercedes-Benz right on the tarmac, and that’s just the beginning.
This is the Caribbean’s newest airport lounge, YU Lounge, at the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport in St Kitts, and it’s immediately one of the region’s best.
The lounge, which opened last month, has both an arrival and departure wing. Here’s the kicker: it also has its own immigration office, meaning you get to skip the lines at passport control.
The price comes in at around $167 (that’s in part because most of those using it will be arriving on private jets), but that includes the tarmac pickup, the expedited customs and unlimited food and drink and fast Wi-Fi.
And once you’re sitting on the couch, sipping fresh lemongrass tea, you’ll feel like a million dollars anyway.
