There is a new way to get from Antigua to the British Virgin Islands.

The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board announced this week that VI Airlink would be launching new VIP air service to connect with the arrival and departure of British Airways and Virgin Atlantic flights between London Gatwick and Antigua.

The flights will operate on Saturdays and Sundays, and will include personal meet-and-greet concierge service.

“Our passenger numbers from the UK have been growing and I am proud to say that we listened to our industry partners and added the extra airlift they need,” said Sharon Flax-Mars, director of tourism for the BVI. “I am pleased to be working with a world class BVI airline offering our visitors efficient service and friendly BVI welcomes from Antigua.”

The BVI said the timing of the flights would “allow visitors departing from the British Virgin Islands to enjoy more time in their destination on the day of departure, while incoming guests will arrive in time for evening supper.”
