Rum Journal: Miami Readies For World’s Largest Rum Festival

Miami is the rum capital of America, and it’s set to again host the world’s largest rum festival this week: the Miami Rum Festival.

The festival, a celebration of all things rum, will bring together rum experts, professionals and enthusiasts from more than 30 countries around the world.

Hundreds of rums will be on hand, with a mix of seminars, cocktail demonstrations and other activities.

The festival, the brainchild of internationally renowned rum expert Robert Burr, is being held again this year at the DoubleTree Miami Airport Convention Center from April 25 to April 27.
