Nine Beach Bars in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

The chalk-white sands of the Turks and Caicos Islands aren’t just great for swimming, relaxing and lounging around. They’re also blessed with some truly good beach bars, particularly on the island of Providenciales. Here are some of our favourites on the Turks and Caicos’ most popular destination.

Da Conch Shack

If you go to any beach bar in Providenciales, this is the one to try — it’s the island’s signature bar and restaurant.

Hemingway’s

A high-end beach eatery at the Sands resort, Hemingway’s is the place for a laid-back, comfort-food lunch or an elegant, international-style dinner. (Served with rum, naturally).

Stelle Beach Bar and Grille

This Mediterranean-style eatery at the Gansevoort Turks and Caicos is a stunning beach bar but also serves up some spectacular seafood.

Infiniti Bar

This bar claims to be the longest bar in the Caribbean (90 feet in all), and offers a pretty remarkable view of the waters of Grace Bay.

Mango Reef

The flagship beach bar at the Alexandra Resort on Grace Bay Beach has a versatile menu of Asian, European and West Indian flavours.

Somewhere… Cafe & Lounge

This bohemian beach bar is ocated on Grace Bay at the Coral Garden Resort. It also serves up terrific Mexican-style food.

Bugaloo’s Conch Crawl

Bugaloo’s is one of those dreamy beach bars, with a vast, open swathe of sand. And, unsurprisingly, it’s a great place for authentic conch.

Froggie’s on Da Beach

The colourful, two-story Froggies on Da Beach is unpretentious, comfortable and sometimes quite lively. (Especially when karaoke gets going).

Horse-Eye Jack’s

This beachfront bar and restaurant specializes in tasty Caribbean seafood; it also heats up with live music at night.
