The Casa Hines private residence club project has officially opened its doors in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

The first phase of the property consists of a 14,000-square-foot main villa.

It is located on 4 acres of beachfront property west of Rincon, one of the bohemian enclaves of Puerto Rico.

“At the [Puerto Rico] Tourism Company are very excited about the creation of new programmes and projects as Casa Hines that breathe new life into the tourism industry,” said Ingrid Rivera Rocafort, executive director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company.

Rocafort said the fractional-ownership property would “attract more and different investors” to both the wider Porta del Sol area and Puerto Rico.

The project reportedly led to the creation of between 45 and 50 direct jobs, with another 50 to 75 projected over the next phase of construction.

The wider plan will include detached two and three-bedroom oceanfront villas, with a total of 11 detached “casitas.”

“We are focused on promoting the development of new alternatives such as Casa Hines, that promote Puerto Rico as a destination, not only for its natural beauty, delicious cuisine and spectacular culture but also by the diversity of products it offers to tourists.”

The project is owned by Glenn Tatangelo.
