You take a short boat ride to a tiny, sandy circle in the middle of the sea. You climb on, and all you can see are a few palm trees and a small shack serving rum punches. This is the secret Caribbean beach bar you’ve been dreaming about. And it’s not alone. While these bars may not be totally secret – when you finally find them, it certainly feels like it. Here are five great “secret” beach bars in the Caribbean. What is your favourite one in the Caribbean?

Ti’ Robinson — Guadeloupe

Pay three Euros to one of the local fishermen in Gosier, and they’ll take you to the enchanting Ilet du Gosier, home to “Ti’ Robinson,” an oustanding beach bar specializing in Ti’ Punch. It’s Robinson as in Crusoe — and this is a perfect place to get shipwrecked.
