The Organization of American States could participate in high-level dialogue between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

According to OAS Assistant Secretary General Albert Ramdin, who met with Dominican Republic President Danilo Medina this week, the OAS is ready to work with the conversations currently taking place between the two sides.

The two countries have agreed to hold a monthly dialogue on bilateral issues, including the ongoing citizenship controversy and other matters.

Ramdin was paying a courtesy call on Medina on Tuesday at the National Palace in Santo Domingo.

Haiti and the Dominican Republic most recently held their bilateral dialogue at the beginning of February.
