WELCOME to Caribbean Style, the new CJ section covering the cool, the chic, the fashionable and the elegant in the Caribbean. We’ll be showing you all of the people, places, things and destinations that define the unique style of the Caribbean.

We begin today with the venerable Half Moon resort in Jamaica’s Montego Bay, which has long had a tradition of serving afternoon tea to its visitors at the Cedar Bar.

The RockResort property, which is located on 400 acres on a crescent-shaped patch of sand, has always been one of the Caribbean’s outposts of laid-back luxury.

Just sit back, raise your cup and enjoy the charm of Old Jamaica.
