He was part of a delegation from the North African country that included Ouadia Benabdellah, a member of the chamber.

The Moroccan officials concluded their visit to the Dominican Republic on Friday.

The purpose of the visit was to “strengthen parliamentary cooperation” with Dominican lawmakers, according to a government statement.

Morocco has been steadily developing its ties with the Caribbean region, most notably with Eastern Caribbean countries such as St Lucia and Dominica.
