The newly-rebranded Caneel Bay Resort has officially reopened in St John.

The property had formerly been known as Caneel Bay, A Rosewood Resort; it has now been rebranded as an independent resort.

Also opening on Nov. 1 was the resort’s new restaurant, ZoZo’s at the Sugar Mill, set at the location of the former Sugar Mill restaurant.

The property has added several other new amenities and dining outlets, including a new coffee shop and a gelateria, “Cannella.”

Next year, Caneel Bay will begin a phased renovation of its guestrooms.

Nikolay Hotze remains the property’s managing director.
