Cuba has leapfrogged Jamaica and Haiti to become the Caribbean’s highest ranked national football squad, according to the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.

Cuba is ranked 74th in the world, just ahead of Sierra Leone and tied with the United Arab Emirates.

The Dominican Republic has also overtaken frequent leaders Jamaica and Haiti, rising to 78th in the world.

Haiti fell two spots to 80th in the world, while Jamaica, following a string of poor play in World Cup qualifying, fell to 82nd, one slot behind Trinidad and Tobago.

The next-highest-ranked side is Antigua and Barbuda, which is now ranked 112th in the world, followed by Guyana.
