Caribbean Room With a View: Anegada’s Lo’Blolly Beach Cottages

It’s one of the best-kept secrets in the British Virgin Islands.

The island of Anegada is a sandy paradise, with 11 miles of beaches, most of which are entirely empty.

There’s nowhere better to access them than at the Lo’Blolly Beach Cottages.

The property has four full-service cottages, each named for a different colour; two are single bedrooms and two are double bedrooms — and they’re all right on the sand on Loblolly Bay Beach, which is regularly considered one of the best beaches, not just in the British Virgin Islands, but in the world.

It’s also steps away from a number of terrific restaurants, from Neptune’s Treasure to the Lobster Pot. The latter is a major attraction in Anegada, which even hosts its own lobster festival in November.

And if you don’t feel like taking the step or two to the sand, you can simply sit back and sun on the cottages’ outdoor decks.

Enjoy the view.
