Jamaica native Tessanne Chin rocked the stage on Tuesday night in her debut on the NBC television show “The Voice.”
The 28-year-old Chin, a native of Kingston and reggae fusion artist, sang the song “Try” by Pink.
Following the show, Chin said in a post on Twitter that she was “truly overwhelmed” by the support she had received thus far.
After wowing all four “Voice” hosts, she eventually chose the team of singer Adam Levine, who proclaimed that Chin could win the entire show this year.
