The Sunset at the Palms Resort in Negril, Jamaica is becoming an adults-only property.

The all-inclusive resort will shift to that status starting Dec. 24, meaning it will only take reservations from adults 18 years or older.

“This decision was made based on overwhelming requests from our loyal and satisfied guests,” said Ian Kerr, Managing Director for Sunset Resorts, in a release. “At Sunset at the Palms Resort we pride ourselves in delivering a truly warm, gracious and personalized Jamaican hospitality to our valued guests.”

The company said all existing reservations after Dec. 24 with children 17 years and under would be given the option of shifting to another Sunsets property in Jamaica, or a “comparable resort in rating and rates.”
