An International Monetary Fund mission is currently visiting Grenada.
The team, which began its visit on Sept. 2, will conclude its trip on Sept. 13. It is being led by Aliona Cebotari.
The team will be focusing on the current economic situation in the country, Grenada’s fiscal performance for 2013 and its proposed debt restructuring, according to a government statement.
So far, the team has already held talks with staff from Grenada’s Ministry of Finance. It will also be holding meetings with Grenada’s Prime Minister and Cabinet officials.
The team is reportedly in the country at the government’s invitation.
