A 3.7-magnitude earthquake caused light shaking in western Puerto Rico on Wednesday evening, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake, which occurred around 9:49 PM, struck about 25 kilometres west of Puerto Real and about 147 kilometres west-southwest of San Juan.
It struck at a depth of around 8 kilometres, according to the USGS.
There were reports of weak shaking on the island’s western coast, with some reports of light shaking towards the centre of Puerto Rico.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
