Trinidad’s Secret Islands

Above: Monos Island (All photos by CJ)

YOU’VE PROBABLY never heard of them.

Gaspar Grande. Monos Island. Cenitpede Island.

They’re just a few of a collection of more than a dozen tiny islands off the coast of Trinidad near Venezuela. These all-but-secret patches of land are not just a world away from Trinidad — they’re a world away from the rest of the Caribbean. These are the secret islands of Trinidad – and now they’re yours to discover. As for staying here, there are dozens and dozens of villas for rent, although no hotels. Of course, they’re a delight just to explore by boat on a Sunday afternoon.

Thankfully, we’ve put together a Caribbean Photo Tour to take you on a short trip through across these tiny wonders.
