Jamaica Names Ambassador to Mexico

Jamaica has named its Miami Consul General the country’s new Ambassador to Mexico.

Sandra Grant Griffiths, who has been serving as the Consul General of Jamaica in Miami, is a three-decade veteran of Jamaica’s foreign service.

She has previously served in the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas, among other posts.

The announcement was made Monday by Jamaican Foreign Minister Senator AJ Nicholson, QC.

Grant Griffiths will begin her tour of duty in September in Mexico City.
