Sandals Resorts International has named Peter Fraser the new general manager of the Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort, which is slated to open in December.

Fraser, a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been serving as the general manager of the Sandals Royal Plantation in Jamaica’s Ocho Rios.

He officially began his duties on July 1, according to the company.

“We certainly have chosen the best man for the job,” said Sandals Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart in a release. “He has not only had an amazing career within the hospitality industry, but a remarkable run within Sandals Resorts – curating and maintaining an award-winning resort with his amazing vision.  We are so pleased Mr. Fraser will be at the helm of our debut in Grenada, for what will sure be the pinnacle of Sandals Resorts and the future of the brand.”

The company has not yet named Fraser’s successor at the Royal Plantation.
