The Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde will undergo a $32 million renovation, the property announced Monday.
The resort, which recently added a new oceanfront bar and lounge, will focus on “guestroom enhancements,” including upgraded bathrooms, living space and decor.
The property will be investing between $12,000 and $15,000 on each of its 260 guestrooms and suites, with new furniture, curtains, bedding and bathrooms.
The lobby and entrance area will also be renovated, with new water fountains and increased natural light.
“We look forward to offering a refreshed Isla Verde Beach Resort following this transformation period,” said Jose Padin, General Manager, in a releas. “The Isla Verde Beach Resort caters to business travelers, families, wedding parties, and leisure guests, and we continually seek ways to keep our resort at its best for a positive guest experience.”
The overhaul will be led by interior design and architecture firm Jorge Rossello.
