St Kitts Sees Increase in Air Arrivals

St Kitts and Nevis’ Robert L Bradshaw International Airport saw an 11.07 percent increase in arrivals in May, according to the St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority.

A total of 11,074 passengers arrived in May, up from 9,970 in the same period in 2012. Departures in May totaled 9,863, up from 9,240 in May.

The leading carrier to the twin-island federation last month was American Airlines, which took in 5,671 passengers on 49 flights, followed by regional carrier LIAT, which brought in 3,478 passengers on a total of 182 flights.

There were a total of 503 flights to the airport in May, up from 463 last year.
