For the first time, the Caribbean now has a regional alliance of psychological associations.
The Caribbean Alliance of National Psychological Associations officially launched last week in Grenada on the True Blue Campus of St George’s University.
The goal of the organization is to provide a “structure that will bring a unifying voice and mission to the activities of psychologists from the region, the Caribbean diaspora and its supporters to improve the lives of our populations,” said Ava Thomson, president pro tem of the organization, in a statement.
CANPA includes national organizations from across the Caribbean, from the Bahamas to Martinique to Haiti.
